Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I mainly post about my sewing projects, as I’m building a colourful and comfortable everyday wardrobe suitable for a working mum of primary school children. I really love African wax fabric, so that features heavily. I also occassionally post about family life in Edinburgh and travel. Hope you have a nice stay!

My second p[air of Bob trousers and I think I’ve got these spot on! These are size 16 again, shortened by three inches and with a full seat adjustment. They only change I made from the first pair is to increase the full seat adjustment to two inches. I think that’s just right. Oh, and I didn’t tstitch the elastic into the waistband this time, I didn’t think it needed it, it’s sitting snuggly inside the channel.

Fabric is the enzyme dyed linen from First for Fabrics again, the same stuff I used for the salmon pink wiksten shift dress, and the red rushcutter. I really love this fabric, its such good value, and the slightly heavier weight is perfect for trousers like this. I now have scraps in the three colours and am hoping to patchwork something together soon
